The Tillamook County Fair
The fair is run by the Tillamook County Fairgrounds, 4603 East 3rd Street in Tillamook. Its site lists open class and 4-H and FFA exhibits from local residents, free entertainment and concerts, and the Pig-N-Ford races. The fair's page lists the next fair as August 11-14, 2027, with hours of 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
The fairgrounds history page says county voters approved a $1 million levy in 1921 to acquire and build the present fairgrounds, and the first fair was held in the new domed exhibit building in 1925. The grandstand, barns and dance hall followed in 1926 and 1927.
